FRANKSTON BY NIGHT WORKSHOP
Duration: 3 hours | Cost: $ 25 | Meeting Point: Frankston Pier
Your fees will be entirely donated to Peninsula Cat Rescue
Night photography requires a different approach to photography taken in the daytime.
In this class, you will learn about your camera and lenses and how to set your shutter speed for long exposure, how to adjust your ISO to reduce the noises in your photos and how to set the aperture to get the right amount of light you need to take amazing photographs.
You will also get a few tips about post-production.
There will be a theoretical part (1 hour) and a practical part (2 hours) so you can practise your newfound skills. By the end of the class, you’ll be able to take stunning nightscapes.
Participants are required to bring the following to the class:
- Digital camera
- Fully charged batteries (and spares if possible)
- Camera manual (if possible)
- Tripod essential
- A remote shutter release (if possible)
Maximum 6 participants per class so each participant will have a chance to interact with the host on a one-to-one basis. There will be a substantial amount of walking involved that night, so please wear comfortable shoes.
At the end of the workshop, I will create an online gallery with the best photographs you took.
Please let me know the model of your camera once you book.
